Happy or Sad Tears? Ask Iyanla Vanzant, the Tearologist | Livin’ Lozada

In all her years as a life coach, Iyanla Vanzant has seen many people shed a tear or two. Even Evelyn has been known to cry in Iyanla’s presence. “Iyanla is my life coach, and I love when I get the chance to catch up with her,” she says. “It’s therapeutic to get her advice, but I always become a blubbering idiot.”

These days, Evelyn cries mostly happy tears—and she better not try to fool Iyanla because this spiritual coach says she knows the difference. “I tell people, ‘I’m a tearologist.’ Happy tears always come on the inside,” Iyanla says. “Sad tears come down the middle and all over, because sad tears usually well up and then they spill forward. —I watch tears as a coach. Your mouth may be telling me one thing, but your tears are telling me something else.”

What do Evelyn’s tears say about her? Watch now and find out!
